Meet the Founder

Yarleny Aguilar is the Founder and CEO of Q’Macizo, shaping the brand with cultural heritage, culinary passion, and strong leadership.

She earned a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Political Science from Western University and studied Entrepreneurship and Early Childhood Education at Fanshawe College. She expanded her global and community-focused knowledge through a certificate from Harvard University in Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster. She further developed her expertise through courses in business management, hospitality, public relations, sociology, and social work, building a strong, multidimensional foundation as a leader.

Yarleny’s career experience is equally diverse. She worked as a professional interpreter, supporting immigration, medical, and legal professionals—roles that strengthened her communication skills and cultural awareness. She also ran a wedding and event decoration business, where she refined her eye for detail, presentation, and guest experience.

Her earliest inspiration comes from her grandmother, a restaurant owner whose kitchen introduced Yarleny to bold flavours and handcrafted recipes—now central to the spirit of Q’Macizo.

Today, Yarleny channels her heritage, education, and creativity into every bottle, leading Q’Macizo as a brand defined by authentic flavour, small-batch craftsmanship, and cultural pride.
